    Overview

    About Showpiece

Showpiece sells fractions ("Pieces") of collectables such as rare stamps. Showpiece Technologies Ltd holds legal title to each item on bare trust under English law, and buyers become beneficial owners of their Pieces. Owners can list Pieces for resale to other users on the site's marketplace. If a buyout offer for the whole item wins over 60% of the Pieces voted, the item is sold and net proceeds are shared pro rata after a 5% sale management fee. Showpiece's terms state that Fractions are not an investment: they are not regulated by the FCA, and there is no FSCS or Financial Ombudsman Service cover. Buyers must be 18 or over. The site no longer accepts purchases from US customers. In November 2026 the homepage showed a Bulletin Board of fractions for sale and no new item offering.
